Golf the way it was meant to be played — on foot.

Mission Valley is a private, member-owned golf and country club in Nokomis, set across more than 200 acres of lakes and old Florida oaks on the Gulf Coast.

A walkable course, built to keep you moving

David Wallace laid out the course with greens and tees set close together. Most members finish a round in under four hours, and many walk it from the first tee to the last.

In 2018 the club regrassed every fairway with TifTuf Bermuda and rebuilt the greens in ultra-dwarf TifEagle. New tees were added for every skill level, the bunkers were rebuilt on the Better Billy Bunker system, and the lakes and sandscape areas were expanded.

The clubhouse at the center of it all

More than 20,000 square feet for dining and gathering, with the course in view from nearly every window.

The Grille Room handles everyday meals; the formal dining room is set aside for special occasions. Outside, an expanded patio with firepits looks out over the eighteenth green, and the bar pours a full list of wines, draft and bottled beer, and cocktails.
